Cul-ah! is a cultural event that happens in my college every year... n its sort of "the happening thing" every year. colleges from other states are invited as well n there's ice breaker, western dance, indian dance, western acoustic, western electric, fashion show, personality, dumb charades, n many more events.
Cul-ah! '08 was on d 10th, 11th n 12th of jan, n this year's theme was Mardi Gras. So, d college was very carnival like.. a lot of decorations, lights, colours, masks, windmills, n that sort. there was also this huge lion at d entrance of d college gate. i must say, d arts n deco team did a very good job!
i took some pics on d 1st day... n i got sick of carrying my phone in my hand n taking pics of every single thing.. so i put my phone away n enjoyed d dances n fashion show. my friends were also taking pics n video recordings, so i thought i might as well take it from them.. also i had to hold a tissue on my nose constantly!! at one point i felt like clipping d damn tissue to my nose but i decided against it cos it would attract unnecessary attention.... i wouldnt want to do anything silly... especially with d loyolla guys standing around us ;p ( btw, loyolla guys r d boys from loyolla college in chennai.. who r supposedly hot looking guys )
1st day there was ice breaker, n western dance, n on d 2nd day there was indian theme n non theme dance, n fashion show. 3rd day was personality n a rock concert, which i had to miss =( cos my fever n cold so stubbornly wouldnt stop! i had to take so many panadols, colgins, D-cold n something else which i forgot d name... n wrap myself in layers of clothes, sweaters, and socks!!
late in d afternoon i felt my temperature go down a little bit so i thought i could make it for d personality n concert but my fever incresed again within 2 minutes after i took off d sweater!!! so, i couldnt go out at all.... n i couldnt even breathe through my nose, nor could i sleep properly. have u ever seen a gold fish out of water, with 2 legs n hands instead of fins n tails?? well... u should see me when i'm sick ... =O
anyway, uploading pics is such a pain in d neck cos its taking such a long time!! so, i've uploaded most of it only in my facebook..
